Hi, I just want to thank you for posting the Marc Behm quote.His noir novel “The Eye of the Beholder” is truly great. Always something else in there I hadn’ t noticed before. And the “pear” quote you posted is one of those.
I find his work fascinating and underrated — and by coincidence, I happened to be in Philadelphia the same night I was reading that quote, over Christmas. 😉
